These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and ScicoDream Network Technology Ltd (“ScicoDream,” “we,” or “us”), the operator and payment recipient of GoodPriceMatrix. They govern your use of the GoodPriceMatrix macOS application (the “App”) and its official website (together, the “Services”).
By downloading, purchasing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you use the App for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization.
1. Relationship to Apple’s terms
The App is distributed through Apple’s App Store. Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Apple Standard EULA”) applies unless Apple presents a different applicable license to you. These Terms supplement, and do not replace, the Apple Standard EULA. If there is a conflict, the terms that are required by Apple or mandatory applicable law control to the extent of that conflict.
GoodPriceMatrix is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple Inc. Apple, App Store, App Store Connect, and related marks are trademarks of Apple Inc.
2. What GoodPriceMatrix does
GoodPriceMatrix is a workflow tool for independent developers and teams. It helps you review and manage App Store pricing across apps, subscriptions, and in-app purchases; use purchasing-power-parity references, country groups, quick plans, and price-ending preferences; preview and submit changes; and configure, generate, and download offer codes.
The App communicates with Apple services using credentials and actions you provide. It is not App Store Connect itself and cannot control the availability, behavior, policies, or decisions of Apple systems.
3. Eligibility and authority
You must have the legal capacity required in your location to enter into these Terms. You may connect an App Store Connect account or API key only if the account owner has authorized you to access the relevant apps, data, and functions.
You are responsible for keeping your Mac, Apple account, and App Store Connect credentials secure; choosing appropriate roles and permissions; reviewing access within your organization; and promptly revoking a key that may have been compromised.
4. License and acceptable use
Subject to these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA, ScicoDream grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for your own lawful personal or internal business purposes.
You must not:
- use the Services or a connected account without authorization;
- submit unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or harmful content or changes;
- interfere with security, access controls, Apple rate limits, or normal operation of the Services;
- distribute malware or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or data; or
- reverse engineer the App except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits it despite this restriction.
5. Your changes and pricing decisions
Pricing references, purchasing-power-parity indicators, price suggestions, templates, previews, and external datasets are decision-support tools only. They may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, unavailable, or unsuitable for your products or markets.
Before applying a change, you are responsible for reviewing the preview and confirming the affected apps, products, territories, dates, prices, offer codes, tax implications, and other settings. You remain responsible for every change submitted through your credentials and for compliance with Apple agreements and applicable law. We do not guarantee revenue, conversion, tax treatment, regulatory compliance, or acceptance by Apple.
6. Apple and other third-party services
Your use of App Store Connect, StoreKit, the App Store, Apple-hosted assets, and any external reference data is also governed by the applicable provider’s terms and privacy policies. Third-party services may change, impose rate limits, become unavailable, return incorrect or delayed data, or reject a request. To the extent permitted by law, ScicoDream is not responsible for matters controlled by those providers.
7. Subscriptions, billing, and refunds
The App may offer auto-renewing weekly and annual memberships through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. The App Store product sheet shown before purchase states the current price, currency, billing period, and any trial or promotional terms; that information controls if it differs from general descriptions in the App or on the website.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account when Apple confirms the purchase. A subscription renews automatically until canceled. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account subscription settings. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
Apple processes billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund requests under its rules and applicable law. ScicoDream does not receive your full payment-card details and cannot directly issue App Store refunds. Prices or available plans may change prospectively in accordance with Apple’s processes and applicable law.
Nothing in this section limits refund, cancellation, or other consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Data and privacy
The App is local-first. Our Privacy Policy explains the information stored on your Mac, direct communication with Apple, support communications we may receive, website hosting, retention, deletion, and your rights. The Privacy Policy is a notice about our practices and is not intended to obtain blanket consent where another legal basis or specific consent is required.
You retain your rights in names, notes, groups, pricing drafts, and other content you create. Because this data is stored locally and is not uploaded to a ScicoDream application backend, you are responsible for your own device security and backups.
9. Ownership and feedback
The App, website, branding, design, software, and ScicoDream-provided content are owned by ScicoDream or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
If you voluntarily send product feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or payment to improve and develop the Services. This does not give us ownership of your App Store Connect data or other content merely because you use the App.
10. Updates, availability, and discontinuation
We may update the App, add or remove features, or change compatibility to maintain security, respond to Apple API changes, or improve the product. We may also discontinue future distribution or support. Where reasonably practicable and legally required, we will provide notice of a material adverse change.
You may stop using the App at any time. You can delete local account data and connections through the App. Ending use does not itself cancel an Apple subscription; manage the subscription through your Apple Account.
If we can technically restrict a feature or future service, we may do so where reasonably necessary to address unauthorized or unlawful use, security risk, or a legal requirement. We do not claim the ability to remotely disable your local copy where no such technical capability exists.
11. Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every future Apple change, or that third-party data will always be accurate or complete.
Some jurisdictions provide non-excludable statutory warranties or consumer guarantees. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies those rights where doing so would be unlawful.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ScicoDream is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from use of the Services or third-party systems.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScicoDream’s aggregate liability arising from the Services will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid for the App or membership during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim and (b) the minimum amount of liability that applicable law requires.
These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including where applicable liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or breach of mandatory consumer rights.
13. Export and legal compliance
You must comply with applicable export-control, sanctions, trade, and other laws when using the Services. You must not use the App to access accounts or perform activities that applicable law prohibits.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Services, Apple’s requirements, or applicable law. We will revise the date shown on this page and, when required, provide additional notice. Changes apply prospectively from their stated effective date. If you do not agree to updated Terms, you may stop using the Services and cancel any subscription through Apple.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the law applicable under relevant conflict-of-law rules. Disputes may be brought before a court or other forum with jurisdiction under applicable law. Nothing in these Terms deprives you of mandatory protections, remedies, or the right to bring a claim in a forum available to you under applicable consumer law.
16. General terms
These Terms, the Apple Standard EULA, and documents expressly incorporated by reference form the agreement governing your use of the App. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Provisions that by their nature should survive the end of use—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute provisions—will survive.
