Frequently asked questions

Clear answers before you connect.

How GoodPriceMatrix handles access, pricing data, subscriptions, and publishing.

01Where are my App Store Connect credentials stored?

Your Issuer ID, Key ID, and .p8 private key are stored in macOS Keychain. GoodPriceMatrix creates short-lived ES256 JWTs when needed and does not log private keys, tokens, or raw authorization headers.

02Does GoodPriceMatrix use an unofficial Apple integration?

No. GoodPriceMatrix connects through Apple’s official App Store Connect API using an API key that you create in App Store Connect. It does not ask for your Apple ID password.

03What can I manage in the pricing matrix?

You can work with the app’s own price, in-app purchases, and auto-renewable subscriptions. Multiple pricing items can appear side by side so regional changes remain comparable.

04Does PPP automatically decide the correct price?

No. PPP references are planning inputs, not guarantees. You can compare Big Mac, Netflix Premium, and World Bank reference models, apply minimum tiers and fallback rules, and then review the mapped Apple price points before accepting them.

05Can a local edit change my live App Store price immediately?

No. Price edits are staged locally first. GoodPriceMatrix shows the affected apps, products, and storefronts and asks for confirmation before submitting a write operation to App Store Connect.

06Can I manage more than one app or account?

Yes. GoodPriceMatrix supports multiple App Store Connect connections and multiple apps. Some scale-oriented capabilities require an active Pro membership.

07What system does GoodPriceMatrix require?

GoodPriceMatrix is a native Mac app and requires macOS 15.0 or later. The current public release supports English and Simplified Chinese.

08Is GoodPriceMatrix free?

The app is free to download from the Mac App Store. Optional auto-renewing subscriptions unlock Pro features. Available plans and local prices are shown by the App Store before purchase.
